Love Equality activists took to the streets of Belfast on Tuesday the 16th May to speak to people from all backgrounds in the North, South, East & West of the city. An estimated 2,000 people were spoken to about the campaign with an overwhelmingly positive response. Activists from the students union movement, trade unions, political parties and the LGB&T sector organisations Rainbow Project, Cara-Friend and Here NI handed out Love Equality stickers and spoke to people about the campaign for marriage equality.

Thanks to our activists and to The Kennedy Centre, Connswater Shopping Centre, Queen’s Student Union and Belfast City Council for accommodating and facilitating the event.
